@iam_Tribal - Going In

By @Spokenpriestess on 11/30/2018 in Music Video

We are here for the brilliant portrayal of self love that is Tribal's brand new visual for his current single Going In. The visual is the story of a pep talk come to life through his dual character play.

We see Tribal from different sides of the coin; a beat down - possibly an addict of sort - version, as well as a more dapper version that coaxes the other him to follow to some mysterious place of discovery. I must admit, following the "better" version of Tribal builds such a huge suspense on your end as you anticipate the destination for these two characters. We love how we're not only treated to a single version at a time on screen as later on both versions appear on screen together, which is excellent filmmaking in a music video if you ask me. Tribal arrives to a mic where he encourages his lesser self to step towards to live his best life and once he does that, they unite like the makings of a fortune cookie tale where spirit meets body. I love the ending where both versions of himself become the best combination of stardom. Not only is this visual a depiction of his own triumph into the person he is today, it's also a message to whomever is watching to always pull themselves out of their struggles to meet their best selves on the other side. We love it!
