As cliché as this sounds Mac Miller could easily be seen as one of the most multi talented rappers the hip hop industry has ever had. Not only did he possess diverse lyrical abilities but he was a unique singer and used a larger range of instruments in his songs than the average rapper. Spotify decided to highlight this truth recently as they share a soulful cover of Billy Preston's 1974 hit Nothing From Nothing and a performance of Dunno by the late Pittsburgh emcee.
The Nothing For Nothing cover sees the rapper jump on a piano backed version of the upbeat song creating a more ambient and open version of it. Given that Dunno off his Swimming LP is a favourite amongst fans, they will enjoy the piano backed version which exposes more of the rapper's vocals. Take a listen to the two songs below.
