With the new era of rap constantly being criticised by hip hop purists for not giving a damn about lyrics, it's good to see that some of the newer artists in the game still consider their words as an important part of their art.
PatricKxxLee, who is an artist considered to be one of the leaders of the new wave of rappers, is gearing up to release his debut album titled Nowhere Child tomorrow. Ahead of the drop he would like his fans to acquaint themselves with the lyrics on the album. The rapper has therefore shared a link where fans can download the lyrics of the songs on the project and he requests his fans to read them before the release. PatricK clearly put a lot of thought into both the sonics and wording on this project and feels reading his book of lyrics will help fans connect with the music better. So do the right thing.
