Cop @3TWO1_nje - #Ris3 EP

By @Spokenpriestess on 11/27/2018 in News

One third of Lemapi Entertainment, 3TWO1, has slowly been on the up and up these past few months as he dropped hooking singles like Parking LotAll Dayand the big one, Jeep, which all make his EP titled Ris3

Following this budding star's rise in the game closely has given me such pleasure 'cause it's not often that you witness a talent slowly creep into the scene with great potential to solidify himself as a formidable force in the future. 3TWO1 represents such calibre of artist as he divulges more of his vapours with his 7 track project that draws you deeper into his world. From Sham3 you immediately get the coolness of his artistry as he welcomes you with a sarcastic awakening to who he is. It's a shame indeed to be sleeping on someone of his kind. He only summons the B3nchMarQ duo in their individual capacities as features on this project which is a very good sign of independence, as well as the tightness of their brotherhood. On Ris3, he squares off with Pjay on the vocals - something that Pjay is also very gifted at when he's not dropping hot bars - against the backdrop of a dreamy, synth heavy canvas. 3TWO1 shows off his flexible song writing on Booty Rubs as he goes all romantic, with a naughty twist, crooning about what he does to his lady including giving her, well... On this song you hear more of his vocal plethora as he tones down on the turn up and hardcore rapper personas he carries in a lot of his singles.

Before you know it, you're halfway through the EP and that catchy Jeep plays and even though you're familiar with it, you can't help but bop along to the addictive song. From the production to his diverse flows on this one song, you're reminded about why 3TWO1 caught your attention in the first place. That's followed by All Day, a hustler's anthem that continues the story of his ambitions in Jeep. He closes off the EP with the Tkay assisted Fir3works, which I think is my favourite song on the EP just based on the feeling it gives you when you're listening to it. The message of living life to the fullest without so much as a worry about overplanning is comforting. Moreover, them sharing their own successes on the song makes you want to raise a hypothetical class in celebration and cheer to the jolly good fellas. It's nothing but feel good vibes throughout this project and that, I believe, is 3TWO1's biggest edge. The music production is firstly out of this world in that it's nestled in between trap influences, yet it carries elements of pop, RnB, and even intergalactic waves (if I can put it in simple English).

I'm excited to see his growth in the game 'cause I truly believe he has the potential to not only own many timeless hooks on the scene, but to carve his own unique lane that a mass number of fans can come to celebrate. Well done on never stopping with the work on your craft abuti, this is it. Cop Ris3 below and tell us if you relate:
