Asher Roth is back on the scene with a brand new visual for his latest single, Mommydog, and it's all the dream and so much more.

It's very rare that an artist can go quite on the music front for a while yet still come back as powerful as he is now. It shouldn't come as a surprise though 'cause there is intense power in focusing on yourself, meditating on who you are, and ultimately making music that speaks to the essence of life itself. Never shaking the success of his smash record I Love College back in 2009, he clearly wasn't under pressure with the rest of his music to conform to the level of popularity it gained. Mommydog is such a beautiful song, more so its motion picture which brings you closer to his world. He lets you into intimate, personal moments that remind you of the simplicity of life and how sometimes that's all you need to replenish your soul. I found myself lost in the visual, especially in his moments of solitude overlooking the scenic body of water. Shu! As simple as the visual is, it carries power in the messages of him living his music dream while balancing family life like we see him do on screen. A truly serene and breathtaking music video. Do you agree? Watch and let us know.
