It has been quite a busy year for K.O as he has been working in the background to secure an important deal that will see his clothing line, Skhanda Republic, successfully reach more consumers. While we were jamming to his buzzing 2 track EP, Two Piece, and right after we celebrated his ASICS Tiger partnership, the seasoned rapper had plenty more up his sleeve.
Coming from his latest single release with Gemini Major and Major League DJz for Eloy, he announces that he has partnered with independent retailer, Studio 88, to distribute his Skhanda Republic imprint across the country. Now, one can imagine the hustle that it is to distributing your own merchandise and with fans as scattered across the country as K.O has, that sounds like a logistical "dream." It certainly is a good call to look at growing the brand's reach by housing it in an already established space that happens to be South Africa's largest independent branded clothing and footwear retailer. What's more exciting about this partnership is that K.O will also be dropping a new summer collection on "Black Friday," the 23rd of November 2018. All the more reason for you to start locating your nearest Studio 88 store to get dibs on the new merch. I'm going to the store in Braam, where will you be?
He's not just Mr Cashtime for the sake of it! Congratulations big guy, this is a power move.
