Throughout the year, Dave East has shown his lyrical capabilities as well as his undeniable work ethic which birthed three solo projects and a joint album between himself and LOX member, Styles P. Though Beloved was released just weeks ago, the Harlem emcee taps back into his past release, Paranoia: A True Story, by releasing a visual for Found A Way.
The rapper speaks of the hardships he had to endure as well as the sacrifices he made to get to where he's at. The video follows a young Dave East shooting hoops (in reference to his past as a basketball player before trading in the ball for a mic) at a basketball court, he's later seen exchanging money for an unknown possession in a bag which later causes his arrest. Towards the end, the video is treated to old clips of the rapper in studio as well as sharing a stage with his mentor, Nas.
