Earlier in the year, Jay Rock released his critically acclaimed project, Redemption, since then the rapper has been steadily releasing music videos in support of the album. He follows up his twin visuals for Tap Out with another music video for Wow Freestyle alongside Kendrick Lamar.
The video sees the two rappers head down to their old neighbourhood block to reminisce about their come up days. The split between the rappers currently and before success during the video do a great job in helping the audience understand just how far the two artists have come in their careers. The slowed down passing of verses towards the end of the video was a good editor's touch, had me asking questions about how they did that. If you have a clue, let us know in the comments section.
