Lil Wayne recently released his critically acclaimed Carter V project which sold 480 000 copies in its first week. He comes fresh off winning a lifetime achievement award at the BET Hip Hop Awards this past weekend to release a brand new music video for one of the songs on the project, Uproar.
The Mills Miller directed video looks to leverage the dance challenge trend in music as it sees a number of young dancers get the chance to bust a move in front of the camera for the Weezy #UproarChallenge. The visual concept really brings the song to life with its fun nature which makes it more likely to achieve higher success in terms of streaming. Cameo appearances on the visual include Fatboy SSE, Shiggy, and Swizz Beatz. Will you be doing the #UproarChallenge? Let us know in the comments section.
