Cop @ThisIsSoloSA & @BETRgang_ #TourDatesDeluxe Today!

By @Lenoir on 10/09/2018 in News

This past weekend, BETR Gang fans were treated to a top-notch gathering welcoming the latest edition to Solo and the BETR Gang's Tour Dates series, the deluxe edition. Attendees were entertained by some favourable emcees such as L-Tido, who is fresh from releasing his album, as well as the likes of KT, Ginger Trill, and HHP who all got to represent North West in Death Or This. What made the night extra special was the fact that, upon arrival, attendees were presented with exclusive physical CD's for the project ahead of the official release. For those who weren't able to attend the event, worry not as you now finally get to listen to the entire project as the Gang officially release it to the world.

The fifteen track project is treated to five new songs accompanied by past favourites such as Caffeine & Other Drugs, 30 000 Ft Remix, as well as one of my personal favourites, Ain't Ready, which represented the land of Limpopo with pH featured for a stellar performance. Keeping to the original theme from past projects, something I've grown fond of throughout the Tour Dates series, the gang give us the 4th Due Dates song. As per our snooping a while ago, Yanga Chief and Big Star also make an appearance in the deluxe edition for the bar-heavy Fall Of Men, as well as the kwaito influenced Easy respectively.

Songbird, Thabsie, also shines through for a feature alongside Solo and one of our lyrical faves, Rouge, who makes her second appearance following her inclusion in the past Tour Dates project for Love Metaphor. The head bopper, Stars Are Dead, is nothing short of what Rouge describes as a "cosmic light show." Be sure to purchase the Tour Dates Deluxe below, I take my hypothetical hat off to Solo, the BETR Gang, and all the featured artists for their stellar contributions to this project. Enjoy!
