Back in March, Sango released an album titled In The Comfort Of which sported features from artists like Sam Smith and Ryan Ashley. Today, in the wake of Lil Wayne's Carter V release, the producer pays homage to the legendary rapper with a four-minute long playback of some of his verses over hard-hitting drum samples.
The opening track was inspired by Weezy's visit to 106 & Park. Sango also used the Young Money emcee's freestyle in the TV show which loops through from the very beginning until midway where he later switches up and plays around with some funky high pitch samples. Towards the end, we're re-introduced to one of Wayne's splendid lyrical performances in Dj Drama's Cannon remix from the Gangsta Grillz album. Listen to this as Sango's throwback Thursday mix:
