We finally get to see the visual representation of Zakwe's hit, Sebentin Remix, after its TV debut some weeks back. The visual keeps to a similar aesthetic as the original video only this time around they take a different approach.
In a dim lit room, Zakwe, Blaklez, Kwesta, HHP, Cassper Nyovest, and Musiholiq all take turns to perform their verses on camera - along with Big Zulu who adds his presence. The genius of the motion picture is really in the editing and how they made use of cut aways to add to the grungy feel at the belly of the track itself. The seemingly demented close ups of head twitches interchanged with dark silhouettes of the emcees give the visual an extra edge in mysterious appearance. I know you're wondering what they did for PRO's verse, and even in his absence you can strongly feel his energy without seeing him on screen. His impact is certainly undeniable and the subtle emptiness during his verse forces your mind to do one of two things; look for him behind all the figures hoping he pops up, or fill in the blanks with images of how he would've delivered his appearance in the visual. It's a bitter sweet experience. Check out the music video below:
