With their joint studio project A Breukelen Story dropping next month, Masta Ace and producer, Marco Polo, are prepping for its release. They tap Smiff-N-Wessun for the lead single to the project titled Breukelen (Brooklyn) which comes packaged with its visual treatment.
As the song title suggests the song sees the rapper big up the Bronx, from their favourite areas in the hood to the biggest artist that grew up there. Directed by Parris Stewart, the visuals are themed the same as the song and they take you through the different parts of the neighbourhood. I love how the song not only mentions the positive side of Brooklyn but you also get to hear the rapper address some of the negatives that have plagued the city over the years.
