While the drug epidemic continues to rise among the youth with many popularising lean and prescription drugs, activists have taken it upon themselves to help raise awareness against drug use. Following Mac Miller's death over a week ago, people have rallied together to help put a stop to the epidemic through counselling and therapy. Musicians have also made it a point to speak on the issue through their music, one such artist being Inferno Williams.
Influenced by his mother to create an anti-drug song, Williams connects with fellow artist, Illy Amin, for a high energy Crackboi which taunts crack heads for their habits. Sonically, the song sounds similar to some J. Cole tunes from the K.O.D album, fitting because it was there that the rapper also raised awareness against drug use.
