Late last year, musicians, Tweezy, Makwa, and Zingah made the announcement of joining forces to becoming a super music trio by the name T.M.Z. This was later followed by them revealing that they had new music on the way before finally releasing a project titled Seeds which comprises of features from Kid X and L-Tech as they pulled a Kanye West by keeping the tracks to a minimum of eight only.
Seeds paints different pictures of Tweezy, Makwa, and Zingah's journeys from where they're from to where they aspire to be, a hustler's tale. The project's main concepts range from highlighting the guys' blessings, rapping about being on their way to the top, as well as having their music (seeds) sprout throughout the industry. It's in tracks like Fukiniiitup, PorryLand, and Ishuu that you get to actually hear the confidence each T.M.Z member has in their music's potential to mess the music industry up.
Aside from the raw trapping and mentions of weed, women, and money, the trio also touches on topics of gratitude for their blessings as well as the subject of love (Amahloni). You can't help but bob your head along to Ngamshova, which immediately stood out for many listeners since Seeds dropped. All in all, I appreciate all three members' musical chemistry and their ability to make each song enjoyable without straying away from the general topics. Fantastic work indeed, listen below and enjoy:
