50 Cent's favourite term, "Get the strap," might go down as one of the year's most utilised phrases. After 50 dropped his latest single using the phrase, it is not a surprise to see other rappers decide to place their own bars over its instrumental using the term. Brooklyn rapper Joell Ortiz has just released a lyrically packed freestyle over the beat.
The Slaughter House mc jumps on the bass heavy beat and raps about life in the fast lane before he made it in the industry. I certainly hope all of Joell's pieces (aka straps) are legal cause from the song it seems he has plenty and has no fear of using them. Overall, I enjoyed Yaowa's take on the joint. Make sure to take a listen.
