@37mph ft @Maggz100 @ScientificLIB & PRO - Life #DankieSan

Stemming from the untimely passing of SA rap icon, PRO, a lot of archive music has been coming out in his honour and we get another dime piece from internationally acclaimed Dj and producer, 37mph. 

Life was recorded in 2005 with the late rapper; his biggest collaborator, Maggz, as well as Liberian emcee, Scientific. The track has a classic hip hop feel with that authentic early 2000s hip hop feel - remember this was when the likes of Skwatta Kamp, Mr Selwyn, Proverb, (then) Tumi were about to kill the scene. Life sounds like a themed song but is very relevant to today given all the turmoil in the world right now. The song is a question on existence and why humans do some of the cruel things they do, always ruining beautiful things and fighting each other. It's a widely known fact that PRO was quite prophetic with a lot of his music and this kind of song is something right up his alley. His potent verse clearly relives the kind of hunger he had for the game and his rhymes are intensely sharp on here too. Man, all I can say is true legends don't die. DANKIE SAN!
