As a part of PRO's throwback tributes, we went back and found one of the rapper's freestyles with Proverb from back in the days. We also dropped a freestyle between JR and PRO from a few years ago.
Over Jay-Z' Encore instrumental from The Black Album, Proverb kicks the freestyle off before both rappers end up passing the mic to one another numerous times throughout the live cypher. Notice how PRO immediately jumps in for his part almost preventing Proverb to complete his lines, shows just how passionate and eager the emcee was for rap and to spit his truth.
Tomorrow fans, family and friends will have an opportunity to mourn the rapper at a memorial at the Newtown Music Factory (Old Bassline). Hope you go out and pay your last respects to the rap icon.
