After a deal to get Wu-Tang Clan's Once Upon A Time In Shaolin album to be put up for free by exchanging owners didn't go according to plan, Ghostface Killah and Big Ghost decided to embark on a new journey titled The Lost Tapes. This new journey is a brand new album by the aforementioned tag team and swiftly so, they drop the lead single from it called Saigon Valour.
Ghost taps the legends E-40, and Snoop Dogg, as well as LA The Darkman for the grungy track that will give you some time travel feels as it sounds like it comes straight from the golden era of hip hop. Hitting the nail on the head with bringing back the Ironman/Supreme Clientele/Cuban Linx era sound, the vets glide seamlessly on the soul sampled beat exchanging bars like their lives depended on it. Snoop Dogg is the only one who seems to appear with a much laid back approach, as is his nature, to the track. Before long you will find yourself bopping your head like you're splat in the middle of a glorious cypher. The Lost Tapes is certainly something for the hip hop heads to put on their wishlist.
