Zakwe pays tribute to fallen rap icon, PRO, by highlighting a song from his recently dropped album, Cebisa, which he penned in his honour. Idols, which is the album's closing track, quickly became one of the project's highlights in a sense that not only does it pack punches and impressive rhyme schemes, it also commemorates the legends who paved the way and shaped the careers of many artists, Zakwe included.
I so badly want to hate this song because of how relevant the message is and how much emotion it evokes, but that's just further proof of how brilliant a song it really is. On Thursday, a memorial service for PRO will be held to celebrate his life and legacy. Let's all come together as family, friends, and fans, to pay homage to the hip hop giant. Long live, PRO.
