Cypress Hill are set to drop their eighth studio project, Elephants On Acid, next month and they begin their official roll out to the album with a new track along with a music video called Band of Gypsies.
Hearing the song for the first time I almost skipped, assuming I had clicked on the wrong song. The track takes you to the Arab middle east through your ears with the various instruments on the beat and the repetitive hook sung in Arabic. Watching the video you get a sense that the artists had fun whilst working on this track as they all turn up to the track. The video was shot in Egypt and sees the artists travel to different parts of the country, showcasing the pyramids every now and again. If you are up for something different from conventional hip hop then this is definitely your tune. Check it out.
