After promising a new project for a number of years now, Travis Scott has finally released his much anticipated Astroworld album. The project features prominent artists such as Migos, The Weeknd, Nav, and Frank Ocean to mention a few. The rapper also has a guest appearance from Drake on a song called Sicko Mode which we took interest in.
La Flame shows just how good he is in production on this one, the beat starts with a drawing dark saw synth before switching up to a more uptempo trap beat mostly driven by a distorted kick. He later adds another seamless switch and it's time to turn up with a heavy 808 high tempo beat. Drake tackles the first and the last verses rapping about his lavish lifestyle, Travis takes the middle verse and is on the same vibe with some ad-libs from Rae Sremmurd's Swae Lee. This song, if it performs to potential, might be one of the biggest records on the project. Make sure to peep the album.
