Fred Mercury is back on the streets with his Thinking Out Loud exhibition compilation and today he connects with Mashayabhuqe KaMamba for a chat. The exhibition was launched last week and kicked off with a personal documentary, Keys Open Doors, which detailed Fred's childhood until now. Today, Kayembe connects with Mashayabhuqe who journeys us through his childhood and his love for music, more especially Digital Maskandi.
The chat is eye-opening in a sense of how Mashayabhuqe tries to help people be proud of their upbringing and to dream a little bigger. He talks about the importance of preserving one's culture and also highlights the aims of his Black Excellence Show EP from four years ago. Truly inspirational, something for the dreamers.
