@Gigi_Lamayne - Iphupho

To celebrate the release of her EP, Gigi Lamayne finally shared the music video of one of her lead singles lifted off VI, Iphupho. The visual, shot on location, takes you through multiple phases of Gigi's state of mind on the song. 

Opening with a ballerina and a risqué scene with Gigi laying bare covered in leaves, we see the video widen to Gigi rapping while seated on a thrown adorning royal garments. As the song continues we also see a reflective Gigi in what resembles a dressing room with a sign language interpreter next to her. We just love the abstract messaging in the video, especially since the motion picture is done in a studio. It could've been very simple, which it is, but it is packing with heavy messaging through the creative direction and this takes the visual to the next level. You can clearly see Gigi's growth as she illustrates strength and truimph through the visual. This is a reminder to always fight for your dreams, and most importantly, your identity. Shine on young queen.
