As John Donne said in his poem, death be not proud.
pH has taken a minor break from making music and for good reason. The Raw X artist lost two of his cousins, Allen and Nsuku, to fatal accidents last year and has since taken it upon himself to partake in a musical hiatus to reflect on life and deal with the loss. In a heartfelt post on his Instagram page, pH expressed how both his cousins positively influenced his career, also noting that his cousin, Allen, was behind the name of his debut album, From Giyani With Love.
While his wounds are still far from healing, his love for music led him to the idea of creating a song dedicated to his cousins in order to grieve and better express his emotions. The song is titled Fire and represents the flame in his heart that will never stop burning in their memory. We'll be waiting for the song to drop, something dedicated to the ones we've lost.
