Nasty C and Cassper Nyovest have just secured international nominations each at this year's IARA's (International Achievement Recognition Awards). The news come just days after the release of Strings And Bling as well as Cassper being selected as one of the local artists to perform at this year's Global Citizen Festival headlined by Beyonce and Jay-Z. The rappers recently came back from the states where they shared the One Africa Festival stage with other African artists as well as being among the few local musicians added to the Forbes Under 30 List. Cassper was also nominated for a BET Award earlier this year.
Last night it was announced that both Cassper and Junior were among other local stars nominated at the IARA's for Best International Male Artist and Best African Music Artist respectively. The IARA Awards are held in the UK, South Africa, and Los Angeles to honour some marvellous talents within the arts and entertainment industry. Among the nominees in other categories are Pearl Thusi (Best International Actress), Lira (Best African Music Artist), Bonang Matheba (Best Female TV Presenter) and Maps Maponyane (Best Male TV Presenter) to name a few. The awards take place on the 22nd of September 2018 at the Hilton Hotel in London, just a few days following Cassper's one-man show at O2 Academy in Islington, London. Ever since both Nasty C and Cassper got their juice back, they've been doing the most in the industry, congratulations to them both!
