Mobb Deep dropping unreleased music might actually become a thing pretty soon as we got to hear an unreleased single last month called Boom Goes The Canon that was inspired by the Hamilton Broadway show. The crew has just dropped off another nostalgic unheard song alongside Melissa J called That's The Thing. 

Apparently recorded after the late group member Prodigy had just been released from prison, the rappers jump on this boom bap beat and rap about what they want from a relationship. Melissa J contributes by singing the melodic hook between Prodigy and Havoc's verses. If you are a big fan of old school hip hop this will definitely be your jam. Check it out.
