@KandyKoated_ZA - Smoke Silence

By @ on 07/05/2018 in Projects You Should Hear

Kandy Koated Music has been doing the music thing for a minute now, whether it's in dropping individual tracks or projects or releasing together as a movement. The artists have recently dropped off a brand new bag of goodies in the form of a tape called Smoke Silence 2 and it is definitely sweet to the ear.

The tape sets off with a laid back wavy track called Smoke Silence, which sets the tone perfectly for the rest of the tape which is a mix of turned up and chilled music. The tape has a lot of aggressive tracks like Get That Money, Game Off, and Set Date which show the artists' strong desire to take their position in the game. If that is not your style chill, the tape also boasts some pretty laid back tracks like Location, which is a dreamy piece for the ladies. More tunes for the ladies include Talk Like That, and Say So which are sure to get the sisters busting a move or two in the club. Though this project is pretty trappy, with a lot of 808's and snares, it is really light on the ear. In my personal opinion, this is a project that achieves a good balance between rap and modern day trap.

Listen to the full project and let us know which joints are your favourite.
