It's been a long year for Fifi Cooper and finally the sun is starting to shine as she prepares to drop her sophomore album, Take Me Back, after announcing it shortly after parting ways with her previous record label.
Fifi hadn't given us the expected release date of the album although she had been dropping music to hold us off with tracks like Boss Lady and most recently, Freedom - which she has already shot the music video for. She finally shares news that her 21 track album is due in August after she has come out of her court battle with her (former) record label which liberates her from a lot of the orders they had placed on her, including not performing songs she recorded while still under them. We've also seen a lot of stills of the Freedom music video which allude to the fact that we might be getting the visual some time sooner than later. Check out some of her celebratory tweets after her court case which she won with the hep of EFF party leader Julius Malema. We are patiently waiting for all that music 'cause that's what we're here for. Stella just got her groove back!
