Hip hop's obsession with the biblical figure, Jesus Christ, is a longstanding one. Rappers like Kanye West, Jay-Z, Lil B, and Reason just to name a few, have compared themselves to him or used him as a figure of reference in their music in the past. The latest rapper to add to this long list is Gorilla Zoe who has just dropped off a new single called Fat Jesus.
The song starts out with an Evangelical hymn before the Fat Jesus starts lacing his lyrics on the joint. The rapper refers to his style as divine and as such, it qualifies him as a fat version of Jesus Christ. On the verses, he talks about his past life and how he handles his many women. Let us know if you agree that the rapper's style is divine in the comments.
