Trae Tha Truth has been consistent with his releases as of lately. Last week saw the Houston emcee release a single titled Friends, before that, the rapper had already dropped a track called Barre and goes back to the latter joint to deliver its visuals.
The joint closes Trae's new project, 48 Hours Later, it and speaks of one of the most popular drugs rappers consume today, lean (or purple syrup), as the emcee mourns the amount of the people who've lost their lives to it. Trae keeps the visuals simple, performing his verses on a bridge while contortionists twist and wind their limbs up in other scenes. The song was made to raise awareness not only about codeine but about drug consumption as a whole, we hope it'll serve as an eye opener.
