Chris Rivers has been consistently releasing remakes of other artist's music on Wednesdays since January. At this point, he has dropped remakes over the instrumentals of most of the biggest artists in the game including Nicki Minaj, Cardi B, Outkast, and Big Sean just to name a few. This week the rapper tackles another J. Cole instrumental having already tackled Love Yours a few months back, he takes on Is She Gon Pop in a track he calls Art of Destruction.
The title speaks for itself on this one, as the rapper addresses various self-destructive behaviours that people get into when they go through tough times. The rapper manages to deliver a strong message through the song while also dropping some bars for the lyrical purists to also enjoy. On this song, we get to hear him go melodic on the hook showing us just how versatile he really is. I think at this point it is very clear, having already heard all of Chris' Barz Day Wednesday releases, the rapper is an all rounded emcee and one of the best the industry has to offer. Check it out.
