"Cause everyone in hip hop has a bit of Pac in 'em"
Hate him or love him, Tupac Shakur is one of the most iconic rappers of all time and his life and music has influenced many a generation of rappers the world over. R-Mean is one such man who has an affinity for rap giants like him, as well as Eminem and Nas. Through his year long weekly Mean Mondays series, which started in 2017, the rapper has been paying tribute to his icons by jumping on their beats for some of his fire freestyles.
This week, he drops a celebratory music video to his Mean Monday 2 drop, All Eyez On You, which pays tribute to Pac. He links up with some friends and family in a park to celebrate Pac's greatness with people who can relate to his love. I see his cake has a happy birthday message to him as well, happy belated birthday champ, know that you've got fans in South Africa. One day when you pull up here we'll show you how to braai (cookout) the African way.
