@Gigi_Lamayne & @FOCALISTIC - Cocoa

Gigi Lamayne has been hard at work on her upcoming EP set to drop early next month called VI. Having already dropped us a freestyle to commemorate Youth Day a few days back, she teams up with Focalistic to bring us a song called Cocoa to warm us up to the project. 

Initially written as a dedication to the LGBTQ community, the song is very different from a conventional hip hop track. The rappers jump on the marimba based beat with the melodic touch of a flute in the background. Gigi is on the hook and takes the first verse celebrating the beauty of being a dark-skinned woman, Focalistic is on the last verse and his verse is along the similar lines of women empowerment. The collaboration between these two rappers is not the first time they work together, as they have been on tour together in the past. Check the track out and let us know your thoughts on it.
