After a long period of silence in the music scene, HHP came out to announce that he would be dropping his final project called DRUM. The album was set for release on the 16th of this month however due to some label issues the rapper pushed it back, disappointing a lot of fans who were patiently waiting for the drop.
The album has just suffered an even bigger blow as the Motswako star has announced that he has halted production pertaining to the project altogether. This is after a series of tweets where Jabba was contemplating giving the album out for free. Though the rapper did not give any real reasons as to why he's downing tools, suggesting that the label has a lot to do with that, he did announce that he would be working on the production of another project with French artist Black M. So, I guess we just have to bench the idea of DRUM the album for now until we get a finite release date.
God willing. Also toying with just giving the album out for free like the band #RadioHead. They asked they fans to pay what they think the album is worth. Highest selling #FreeAlbum release...now that’s a #LegacyProject. https://t.co/RImdayg8l8

@UMGSA killed the spirit of this album. Talking to lawyers to cancel the deal with them. If I loose the case, I’m sitting on the album. They can’t force me to put it out with them. They are incapable of the #JabbaBrand. So for now, #ToolsDown #FreeDrum_TheAlbum #FuckUniversal https://t.co/PeJ2ya60sw
