Namibia stand up! The boy KK is repping real hard in his latest music video for a beautiful song titled Khâimâ which is Damara/Nama for "get up" or "stand up." The track finds KK in a reflective state as he raps about how hard it's been trying to make his dreams manifest over the years being a musician. 

The music video, shot in Gibeon, Namibia, is a view as KK takes us to a place that resonates with his heart while he raps in courage about never giving up regardless of how hard things may get. The video will certainly have you in your feels, but it will also make you feel proud even though you're not Namibian. There is a level of love and majesty in KK telling the story of not only his own struggles, but also showing us his people in this visual. I especially love the Damara hook, which sounds like nothing I can ever learn to speak, but it just hits me hard when it lands. I'm in total awe of how the Tswazis gents nailed the precision in their delivery of the hook bringing it back home for Namibians. This is Africa in its truest form, with stories about its people told by themselves. This is black boy magic, my heart is stolen!
