Movie soundtracks have become very important in recent years, possibly just as important as the movie itself. The Black Panther soundtrack going platinum is a good example of this. It is no surprise then that anticipation for the Uncle Drew movie soundtrack has been very high. They dropped a star-studded tracklist last month with artists like French Montana, A$AP Rocky, YBN Nahmir, and Yo Gotti just to name a few. This week A$AP Ferg drops off his contribution to the soundtrack.
Ferg pays tribute to stars that were born in Harlem on this one. He gives props to Joey Bada$$, and also shows appreciation for OGs such as Cam'ron and Mase. He jumps on a beat with live percussion boom-bap elements. The movie soundtrack is set to be released on June 15th and the movie on the 28th, make sure to check it out.
