Marshmello is a frequent collaborator with hip hop artists having brought us tracks with Migos, Logic, and Machine Gun Kelly just to name a few. He is back with a music video for his joint effort with Juicy J featuring singer, James Arthur, titled You Can Cry.
The visual is set with mainly two scenes, one with the various characters dancing or standing in the rain, and another of Juicy J at a table with people of various races dressed in all white arguing. The arguments calm down when Marshmello enters the room and offers everyone a meal of their choice. This video seems to depict our desire to be heard rather than listen as people of different races. The scenes in the rain show us that we are all human at the end of the day and we all have the ability to experience both pain and joy.
