Beatmochini is at it again with the endless music releases as we know that the superproducer lives in studio. Ahead of a planned album release some time later this year, he drops off an After-Party Edition of his March 10th EP which he share on his birthday last year.
The project is complete with 6 tracks, two being previous singles he dropped for the streets and the rest being new flavours to take in. He opens up the EP with an upbeat piece ft Skillo, Towdeemac, and BK who appears like a sampled vocal in the background - brilliant! He flows into the brief and upbeat Dumb Chics with Khashane which quickly flows into Mochini which is a burst of flavour half-way through the track. If there's one thing about Beatmochini, it's his special ear for universal yet authentically African influences in his music. We don't know how this guy does it. Although the EP is colourful, there's a coherent flow in sound that one cannot explain and it seeps into No More which has some characteristic acoustic house drums which will sure have the Pitori crowd on the floor, literally.
As you near the end of the project, the familiar tracks Supa Nna and The Weekend play us out wrapping up the sonic experience we just had. This is a solid project that showcases Beatmochini's undeniable versatility and perfection as an overall emotion engineer (we're no longer talking sound now). Bravo!
