Blayze has been off the radar for a while now since his back to back music releases last year, but it was only a matter of time till we got something new from the rapper. The Complicated EP is Blayze's first project this year, a follow-up to the Ladies Night project he dropped back in 2016. The project is eight tracks long, mostly tackled by himself but he does get feature assistance from KLY and Da L.E.S while production is handled by himself, Shyne, Noyas and Zoocci Coke Dope. The EP transitions from trap, to soul, and RnB but is not shy of the bars either. Much like the title, the songs are also based on the complications Blayze has faced in relationships as he tries to get through insecurities and uncertainty.
The opening track with Da L.E.S titled Number 1 is a club jam with the heavy drums and kicks while the rest of the songs are more laid back and enough to get you in your feels. The project is well done and quite relatable, Blayze has continued to evolve as an artist through the years and this just shows how much work he's willing to put in to deliver quality music to his supporters.
