@rikyrickworld Takes A Break From Music

This past weekend Jo'burg residents attended the Back To The City festival where they were treated with spectacular performances from the artists on the line up. Riky Rick was among the artists who gave a phenomenal performance and had the crowd jumping throughout his entire set. After the show, Makhado went on Twitter to thank his supporters for holding him down throughout the years of his career, he later posted more tweets where he briefly announced his break from doing shows to focus more on his family and his faith.

friends & fam, I apologize sincerely to everybody who will be effected but I am not in the right place mentally to continue doing shows or anything that involves leaving my children. I am taking time to find my faith before I lose the connection with the people I love the most.

Cassper Nyovest later shared a tweet of his own, showing his undying support to Riky as a fan and friend. We don't know how long the break will be but we support the decision, well wishes to Riky.
