It's been a long time coming with all of Eskay's past releases, he's consistently dropped new music monthly since the year kicked off now we finally get to hear a project from him called Spacebound The Voyage 1 complete with eight tracks and features from Truey Donatello, Focalistic, and Tumi Tladi to name a few. His February collaboration with Kid X, Pharoah Fi and Deuc33 titled Bamenywe'Uba also found life in the project. One thing Eskay promises with the project is that the songs will take you on a trip, the futuristic and trippy instrumentals are guaranteed to transport you to a whole other galaxy. Opening with a heartfelt skit titled Thando's Prayer, we're introduced to different psychedelic sounds throughout the project. Eskay raised the bar for himself in terms of experimenting with sounds like Pop, Trap, and Kwaito while jumping from singing to rapping, not to mention continuously switching flows. Spacebound is a pretty impressive project, it goes to show just how far you can go musically if you step away from the norm and try something out of the ordinary.
