The judgement is in and our very own AKA, Big Star, and Tshego are off to Cannes in France for the annual Midem Artist Accelerator program. A few weeks ago we reported that the aforementioned, along with Rouge, Tshego and Zoocci Coke Dope, were added to the pre-selection playlist consisting of 55 international songs that has led to this here moment of rejoice.
We caught up with Big Star about this milestone as he has basically trumped many an entry to earn his spot in the top 11 artists who will be performing at Midem, along with attending an exclusive boot camp that entails workshops and networking sessions with some of the finest minds in the global music industry.
