@Manifestive ft @IamKingPromise - Me Ne Woa

By @Spokenpriestess on 03/30/2018 in Music Video

The African love doctor, Mr Rap-You-To-Your-Blush Sentence, M.anifest, delivers yet another heartwarming visual for his latest single with Ghana's most promising vocalist right now, King Promise.

The music video for Me Ne Woa ("me and you") has a funny story to it 'cause M.anifest teased his fans with a preview on his timeline to which major threats and mini riots ensued over him dropping the whole thing. For his own safety, and our hearts' cholesterol levels of course, he obliged with a creative display of love and promise. He uses abstract body direction to draw attention to the seriousness of his lyrics as well as juxtaposing the hardship of "relationshipping" with the good times. Moments like a candle lit date to chat, an argument at the bus stop, and the closing walk on the beach take you through the ups and downs of commitment. M.dot raps about his promise to do right by his lady while King Promise steals the show with his piercing and mesmerising hook. REPLAY!

Ps. M.anifest has been a resident of Wakanda even before the rest of the world came to know such a place existed. He makes my heart smile eternally.
