Now here's a school of hip hop I very much mess with, the "backpacker sound" blasters. This is Impakt, one half of A Huge Impakt (the other being Huge), and he shares an ill track lifted off the Gado Manyabula mixtape which was birthed from Ritual Media's mixtape challenge last year.
The track, touched by Nyambo and MrC as well, is packed with heavy nostalgia of the underground cyphers and battles that once filled the streets when hip hop first broke out. Impakt and MrC have an awesome chemistry with complementary voices as they back each other throughout the song as they each drop heavy writtens in their verses. This that music that will leave you with a headache from the way you'll bop your head so hard. I actually have a migraine from how many times I played this song and banged my poor head. Now I have to re-do my head wrap! DEMMET.
