@Skepta Added To @RedBullZA #RBMJHB Line Up!

Just in! SKEPTA IS COMING TO THE COUNTRY! Hawemah! The streets are shaking at the announcement that Red Bull just made about the next addition to their Red Bull Music Festival line up for Jo'burg next month. No one saw it coming at all. 

The festival, which takes place between Tuesday, 03 April and Sunday, 08 April, will feature 80 artists performing in various Jozi venues over 6 days. The UK grime artist will be performing at Fox Junction on Saturday, 07 April, the main festival night which features 3 stages showcasing future beats, RnB and deep house. The Shutdown hit maker joins a contingent of local and Pan African stars 340 Mill, Detroit native DJ Stingray and Usangikhumbula hit maker, Kid Fonque who will all be performing at FOX Junction on Saturday 7 April 2017.

Skepta has been at the forefront of Grime for over 10 years and fans can expect to see an exhilarating show featuring iconic tracks such as Konnichiwa, Man and That’s Not Me. 

Saturday, April 7 sees modern soul music trailblazers Shekhinah, Langa Mavuso, 340 Mill, Gina Jeanz, and Capetonian Dwson take over Fox Junction. The venue will have three captivating stages which will cater for diverse music tastes. Audiences will enjoy new genres such as trip hop, future RnB and everything in-between. Other nights during the week will showcase Jazz at Orbit, Kwaito night at Republic of 94, hip hop and other local sounds at Zone 6, Great Dane and Kitcheners.

Red Bull Music Festival Johannesburg is a global celebration of 20 years of the Red Bull Music Academy. The Academy is a world traveling series of music workshops and festivals. Festival goers of all ages visiting the city will undoubtedly celebrate Jo'burg in its legendary light. The festival has been held in various cities including Los Angeles, New York City, and Paris espousing the values of the RBMA: to create, collaborate and celebrate the SA music scene.
