We get an emotive motion picture for Kur and PnB Rock's No Shine collaboration. As if the song itself was not heart tugging enough, the music video brings the pain of American hood life to your face.
Throughout the visual we see multiple walks of lives depicted where things almost always end in disaster. Meanwhile, there's a massive black cloud that slowly engulfs the sky of the hood illustrating how things just seem to get worse in their environment. As the lyrics say, if you're born in the hood it's hard for you to ever get out. From broken families to criminal activity to survive, you see the typical "drama" that comes with living in the hood. A painful, and truthful, account of the lives of their people by Kur and PnB. I'm not from Philadelphia but I feel this in my soul. Black boy magic is alive!
