A young aspiring musician named Kennedy Green just released his first project called Midnight City which has gained him a lot of popularity on SoundCloud since its release. His sound is sort of "trap-soul" with some autotune assistance, the songs on the EP sound like the type you'd listen to while driving in the night time. We once hosted him and fellow aspiring artists, Khanyo and Sasha Felix, for Underdog Day with the track Villans taken from their joint project. While most of the songs are less than three minutes long, he does make them enjoyable with his vocals, making them more worthwhile to listen to. They also sound a bit distorted and emo, a surefire way to get you in your feelings real quick.
The project features just six songs with only one person, Kade, making a guest appearance on the final track called Your Way. Caught Up happens to be the most popular among the other tracks and has gained quite an impressive number of plays from Kennedy's supporters. Be sure to show him some love and listen to the tracks, Kennedy might just be the next big thing. Watch the space!
