This is arguably one of my favourite and most sentimental numbers off Rouge's New Era Sessions added to Mabele and Naledi. Rouge drops off the first of two music videos we are expecting from her, the other one being for her current single Dololo which she shot for recently.
If you've seen her New Era Sessions short film, you'll notice that the visual is lifted from there where we find her looking like an A-Grade superstar as she raps about the ups and downs of fame. She reiterates the power of the limelight and how it can completely suck one in as you see her growing frustration in her performance juxtaposed with some dance routines in between. The dark lit room with the spotlight on her gets the point across very well creating a level of suspense as the track goes. We're so excited for what Rouge has to offer us this year. Check out the visual and show her some love.
