It's a rainy day in Johannesburg, South Africa, and the forthcoming Forever M.C album gifts us with a stealthy soundtrack for the wet day. We get some grungy and sonically surprising music from the Wu-Tang Clan who huddle up for Piranhas.
The track has an uptempo, electronic influence but that doesn't say anything on the delivery of the formidable bars on the track. Each man shows up with their legendary pen skill reminding us why they are hailed the way they are as gods of this rap thing. The interesting thing is how the dubstep beat trips up in the hook and then it falls back into a "day-in-the-life-of" piano present soundtrack when the fellas rap. This is dope. Let them with ears understand!
